To commemorate the 20th anniversary of ESA’s Mars Express mission, a series of detailed spacecraft display models were commissioned by us to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of its launch and its long-running scientific achievements. The project began with the creation of original CAD drawings developed from scratch, using photographic reference to generate accurate, bespoke blueprints.

From these designs, selected components were 3D printed, hand-fabricated in brass, and laser cut, combining modern digital processes with traditional modelmaking techniques. The work focused on accuracy, clarity of form, and high-quality presentation suitable for exhibition and commemorative use.

All models were produced at Gallo Makes, with careful attention to both technical precision and craftsmanship to mark this significant milestone in European space exploration.
