For the new BBC adaptation of The Famous Five, we were commissioned by Mangostone to create a highly detailed, soft rubber replica of a 1940s parachute harness and buckle. Designed to replicate the look and feel of authentic period equipment, the piece was crafted to be safe and wearable for on-screen use while retaining historical accuracy.

Using Hand drawn CAD and 3D printing , the harness and buckle were printed in a soft rubber material TPU, and hand painted. We studied a real parachute harness from this era to be match the distinctive design of 1940s parachute gear. The result is a realistic,light weight, durable prop that blends seamlessly with the production’s period setting, showcasing our team’s attention to detail, authenticity, and cinematic presentation.
